I’m attending the classes to continue the improvement following spinal injury. I find it a great weekly workout for the core, carefully managed for individual needs.

Chilltastic! Physio led pilates is proving very beneficial and targeted to the area centred around my needs. I come as I have decreased core strength following surgery. Cheers Andy.

I've joined the classes for fitness and strengthening to avoid poor posture and back issues. Andy is very attentive and through attending Chill Pilates I feel that I have progressed well. I am stronger.

My reason for attending the class is to build up core strength and exercise muscles and joints properly. Andy gives me every confidence because of his professional background and overall thorough knowledge.

I attend the class to improve core and posture. I have made a big improvement with my core strength and am much more aware of good posture and how to work towards strengthening weak areas. Andy gives everyone good structured feedback. Really beneficial class... one not to miss.!!

Through attending the class I maintain and improve core stability and improve left gluteal/hip function. Having a class run by a physio has been of enormous benefit. When I do something that causes an area to ‘complain’ Andy is able to pinpoint the error either in movement or body function and adjust the exercise to avoid pain / further injury and maximise positive effect. Only class I’ve ever stuck at so long!

I have joined the class to improve strength and fitness. Excellent way to improve strength and body awareness with lots of 1:1 instruction. Best night’s sleep of the week.

I started attending the class due to Back Pain. Pilates has changed my life! I have gone from not being able to tie shoelaces to wearing heels and even being able to jog. All were too painful before. Definitely worth giving it a try.

I’m attending classes to improve core stability post back injury. Andy has a very professional but friendly manner to his teaching which is ideal for this type of exercise. His approach is motivating and challenging which helps with moving through the levels whilst remaining within your limits. I thoroughly enjoy attending each week and feel I am improving very well indeed. Thanks Andy!

I was recommended Andy by a physiotherapist from Poole hospital. I attend because of back and joint pain. Andy’s Pilates class has helped me tremendously. He supervises and individualises the Pilates movements. He has taught me how to engage correct muscles and to improve my stance and posture. This has helped me feel I have a better range of movement with less pain and a stronger core. I would thoroughly recommend Andy’s Pilates class.

I have been attending Andy's classes for several years now. The reason I started was because I had a major back operation and needed to get the strength back in my muscles. Andy pays great attention to each person in his classes and alters the exercises for their needs where applicable. His classes are never too large that you get missed. I would highly recommend Andy to anyone who is looking for a good Pilates teacher.

I have struggled with lower back which radiated into my hip and leg for some years. I then had an acute bout of pain which I attended physiotherapy for and during my treatment I was introduced to Pilates. After attending a few sessions at Wimborne with Andy I now feel stronger and pain free! I was slightly nervous about attending but the classes are small and friendly with a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone works to their own ability and although it is a group lesson you do get one-to-one advice throughout the session to ensure you are in the correct position. I have learnt that you get most benefit from the small controlled movements that you are taught.

Andy was recommended to me by the physio department at Poole hospital following decompression surgery on my spine. As he only runs small classes I find he has the time to take an interest in my individual needs and to ensure I am doing the exercises correctly. Since starting the classes I feel I have regained strength in my core and back and I take the principles learnt from the class into everyday life and exercise.

I have recently joined Andy Hayward’s Pilates classes in order to tone my body and work on my posture and joints. After 4 weeks I am delighted with my progress, seeing results already. Andy is a very good and patient instructor, takes the time to assess everyone’s needs and provides individual attention when needed, thus accommodating all within the class. I would not hesitate in recommending Andy for anyone wishing to take up Pilates.

I’m attending the classes due to back problems and sciatica after second knee replacement. I was advised by my chiropractor to start Pilates and a friend suggested I try Andy, who does cover rehab Pilates. Pleased to say that even after a couple of months I could feel a lot of improvement. Andy's classes are very relaxing, he is patient and very attentive. He shows you that a very slight movement of your position can greatly improve what you gain from various exercises. I feel so much better and glad that Andy was recommended to me

Lower back issues and sciatic nerve pain resulted in me joining Andy's Pilates through recommendations. The well-structured classes are helping to improve mobility, build muscle and have resulted in a substantial easing of pain. Won't be long before I'm back to all activities prior to injury. Thanks Andy.......

since attending Andy's sessions I have noticed an improvement in my posture and balance and importantly less lower back issues linked to my main sport of canoeing. Plus the sessions are fun - great .

I had a bulging disc in my lower back and couldn't move for 3 weeks back in February 2015. Saw Andy for physio and decide to try his Pilates class when I could walk and sit normally! I was amazed at how much movement I could get from a couple of weeks of classes. I did a few of the exercises at home as they are easy to remember and I have a yoga mat at home. I really like that Andy changes the exercise routine every week and introduces various equipment to help and challenge us. The class is the perfect size. He makes sure everyone is doing the exercises properly and if you can't manage it he will adapt each one to suit your ability and needs! I love Andy's classes. They've helped me immensely!

For a long time now I've suffered from lower back pain and more so since pregnancy. I started Andy's class when my baby was 4 months old and I noticed a significant reduction in my back pain within 3 weeks of attending the class. I've now been attending Andrew's classes for 14 months now and my back pain has disappeared completely. Not only is Andrew a Pilates teacher but he is also trained in physiotherapy which makes for a perfect combination. I couldn't recommend Andy enough.

I have three damaged discs in my lower back and have suffered for many years. I was advised by the last specialist to invest in some physiotherapy and to take up Pilates. I have found the classes very beneficial. It’s made me more flexible and given me more confidence in my movements. I was in discomfort and sometimes pain at times but now it is so much better. Thanks to you Andy.
